About
FrostBear adds a frozen polar-bear boss and its combat encounters to snowy and icy parts of Minecraft. The 260-health boss uses roar, charge, frost-breath, chilling melee, and ground-level ice-spike attacks, with custom animations and sounds, glowing eyes, back crystals, and a boss bar. Players can encounter FrostBears naturally in cold biomes, find an igloo guardian, or transform a polar bear by applying both Slowness and Weakness. Defeating the boss provides a Frozen Heart for instant Heart of Winter activation, granting freeze immunity, an aura that slows and freezes nearby hostile mobs, and a brief burst of regeneration. Its Glacial Core crafting material is used to make and repair Frostfang, a diamond-tier sword that chills enemies and can send a forward wave of ice spikes across the ground.
