    About

    Fungi Delight expands Farmer’s Delight with new mushrooms, mushroom-growing features, mob interactions, and dishes. It adds Inky Caps, Morels, and rare underground Truffles: Inky Caps are more common in mushroom fields, swamps, and birch forests, while Morels favor mushroom fields, coniferous biomes, and dark forests; Truffles occur in rooted-dirt patches, especially in dark forests and taiga. Inky Caps and Morels have huge forms and farmable colonies, and the mod also adds Inky Cap and Morel Mooshrooms; Truffles do not grow into colonies. Truffles are used in higher-tier dishes and villager trades, can pacify Hoglins and feed Piglins and Sniffers, and may give pigs a chance to produce twins or triplets when used for breeding. Players can give a Truffle to a dog to start a two-minute hunt: the dog detects hidden Truffle ore nearby and signals its location by returning to the surface, howling, and digging. Pigs may dig in Podzol, Mud, Rooted Dirt, or Truffle ore, turning the block into Coarse Dirt and uncovering items such as sticks, bone meal, clay, or Truffles. The Burrowing effect speeds up mining shovel-compatible blocks, while Weak Stomach can follow eating Coprine-containing foods such as Inky Cap dishes; during its temporary effect, consuming alcohol, potions, or configured items causes nausea, poison, and weakness. The mod adds mushroom-processing recipes and a range of dishes, including ink-sack recovery from cut Inky Caps and slices from cut Truffles.
