    About

    GabeUp Heroes Pack is a superhero RPG addon for Palladium that lets players gain powers through their character’s genetics or acquire some powers later through survival gameplay. Its powers include Daxamite and Strontian aliens, werewolves, immortals, seafolk, vampire-like and lizard mutations, and X-Men-inspired mutations such as Thunderbird’s superhuman muscle, Warpath’s combat, and Blob’s bodily-mass powers. A character sheet provides stat and trait systems: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Agility, Focus, and Willpower shape damage, defense, health, movement, experience gain, and nonphysical combat, while traits offer individualized bonuses that can come with drawbacks. The custom experience system awards XP for activities such as fighting, mining ore, and using certain machines; leveling grants skill points to improve stats, and levels and boss fights can provide genetic rolls for changing a race or trait. Four overworld bosses scale with the player’s level, offering combat challenges, experience, and a chance to earn genetic rolls. Crafting and research are supported by custom machines including the microscope, synthesizer, and stirrer, alongside power-related materials such as circuits, special ingredients, and new ores. The addon also adds mutant-gene materials and an injectorgun for obtaining powers, costumes and costume-making materials, and equipment such as a solar bodysuit that speeds solar-reserve charging and a craftable Legion Flight Ring that can be upgraded with circuits. Combat includes a custom blocking system that reduces incoming damage while still allowing movement, as well as a modified bow that can fire additional arrow types, including lead arrows.
