Gods & Heroes Races is an Origins addon for the Gods & Heroes Medieval modpack, adding ten playable races whose passive traits shape your character while you select active powers separately. The races are Human, Elf, Dwarf, Orc, Hellborn, Aasimar, Feline, Gnome, Fishman, and Fairy; their traits range from the Human’s bonuses to luck, movement, and combat speed to the Dwarf’s faster mining and bare-handed block breaking, and the Elf’s wall climbing and ability to pass through leaves. Other distinctive abilities include the Orc’s extra health and knockback resistance, the Hellborn’s fireballs and lava healing, the Aasimar’s ally healing and angel wings, and the Feline’s speed-based jumping and extended item pickup range. The Gnome and Fairy have small statures and strong magic affinity, while the Fishman breathes underwater and deals extra damage in water; the Fairy can fly and avoid fall damage. The addon is designed to complement other Origins additions and RPG systems, with stated integrations for Iron’s Spells & Spellbooks, Ars Nouveau, and Icarus for dynamic wings and flight.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
One of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 3 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Gods & Heroes Races: their authors or Gods & Heroes Races' author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Gods & Heroes Races, so you only need one.

More modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 6 a month now, 3 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
70 modpacks include Gods & Heroes Races in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Gods & Heroes Races. Share: how many of the modpacks with Gods & Heroes Races also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
