Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks adds a progression-focused magic system inspired by classic RPG spellcasting, sending players to explore, fight for resources and grow more powerful through spells and magical equipment. Its spell collection includes more than 100 upgradable spells across distinct schools of magic, with effects such as Blood Step teleporting the caster, Raise Dead summoning undead, and Ray of Siphoning damaging enemies while healing the caster. Players find spell scrolls in the world and use the Inscription Table to add them to spell books; later, the Scroll Forge crafts scrolls using ink to set rarity and a magical focus to determine the spell's school. Progression moves from looting structures for scrolls and beginner books to using Nether resources for stronger books and armor, then the Arcane Anvil to level scrolls, upgrade armor and spell books, and imbue weapons with spells. Exploration includes wizard locations such as the Mountain Tower, Mangrove Hut, Pyromancer Tower and Evoker Fort, as well as Ancient Battlegrounds, the Impaled Icebreaker, Ice Spider Dens and the underground Catacombs. These generated sites offer magical loot, guarded secrets and traps, while the Catacombs and Nether Citadel provide boss dungeons centered on the Dead King and a summonable Citadel boss. The mod also adds spellcasting bosses and characters, including dangerous wizards, allied or neutral spellcasters, merchants and the village-protecting Priest. Players can specialize with themed wizard armor such as Cryomancer, Cultist and Electromancer sets, and collect spell books, staves, rings and other magical artifacts that grant school-specific bonuses or utility effects. Configuration options include per-spell settings, and the mod has built-in compatibility with tools and mods including JEI, JEED, Apotheosis, Tetra, Better Combat, Patchouli and Curios.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
An AI tool may have been used
Cursor is named in the ignore list of its repository.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
