Goety: Mastery of Magic is an addon that extends Goety with alternate progression paths and new ways to use its magic system. Its Masteries cover each school of magic and have three levels that increase spell potency, with higher levels also granting effects associated with that school’s crowns and robes; rituals unlock them, often requiring the sacrifice of powerful servants tied to the chosen magic type. The addon expands Focus Bags so a wand can be bound to a chosen bag or pack, including Sophisticated Backpacks, and continues to access that container even when other bags are carried. It adds Lazethyst, crafted from Amethyst and Lapis Lazuli, which rituals can turn into Runed Lazethyst Blocks: Soul Energy- and redstone-powered constructs that copy a placed Focus’s spell and stats to cast at nearby enemies. These blocks offer multiple range modes and school-aligned variants that make spells behave as if cast with the corresponding staff; most Goety spells are supported, with configuration to exclude incompatible Focuses. The Sorcerous Ring stores up to three Focuses in separately assigned slots, allowing their spells to be cast with their respective keys, including multiple spells at once, while keeping utility spells such as launching, flight, and blinking readily available alongside staves. Other additions include the Master Staff, which stores up to seven wands and inherits the selected wand’s effects, Focus, and upgrades, as well as a Golden Goblet that permanently grants Liches configurable Soul Energy regeneration. New utility Focuses include Soul Barrier, which creates temporary protective blocks, Dashing, which propels the player in their movement direction, and Fading, which teleports along that movement direction and can pass through walls when its range allows.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 9 areas:
DeltaTracker.TimerAdds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
Suno is named in the sound files in its files
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 7 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 4 points.
