Gregtech++ expands GregTech 5 with new materials, processing recipes, machines, and utility items, adding depth to industrial production rather than introducing new world generation in the overworld. Its material range includes Energy Crystal, Blood Steel, Bedrockium, Inconel, Tungsten Carbide, Hastelloy, and Maraging Steel, with plates and ingots filling recipe gaps and supporting further crafting. Large processing machines include the Industrial Centrifuge and Electrolyzer, Industrial Maceration Stack, Material Press, Wire Factory, Coke Oven, Iron Blast Furnace, and Multiblock Matter Fabricator, offering higher-tier ways to process materials. Other industrial additions include tiered Chemical Dehydrators for nuclear-fuel processing, diesel engines, fluid tanks, energy buffers, safe blocks, and superconducting wires paired with Phase Change Stations for long-distance, high-capacity power transfer. The mod also adds tools and conveniences such as a Tunnel Digger that mines a 3×3 area, a Tree Feller, a Sandstone Hammer, hot foods that change their healing value as they cool, and a Universal Battery for converting RF and EU in specific cases. For new ores, the Toxic Everglades is a desolate dimension with concentrated heavy-metal deposits and hostile inhabitants, framed as a polluted, apocalyptic future; the gallery describes it as containing more than 50 ores. Gregtech++ also extends compatible mods with features such as Forestry and Extra Bees alveary blocks and bee frames, shard recipes for Thaumcraft and Forbidden Magic, fish-trap additions for Growthcraft, and recipe support for mods including Immersive Engineering, Railcraft, Ender IO, and Big Reactors.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds 60 blocks, 1,663 items and 9 entities.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 3 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
