    About

    HexText extends Minecraft’s text rendering so players and server authors can use full RGB colors and additional formatting while retaining the familiar vanilla color and style codes. Inline six-digit hex codes set an exact text color, while nestable scoped color spans let authors highlight passages and restore the previous color when a span closes. Formatting can also add an animated rainbow shader, upside-down text, a fiery overlay, or subtle shaking, and these effects can be combined with colors and vanilla styles in a single string. On servers, configurable options govern HTML-style color spans, ampersand formatting in chat, signs, and anvil repairs, and whether players may open sign editing with an empty hand.
