Build factories and reactors through a guided industrial adventure.

Nuclear Tech: New Horizons is a quest-driven modpack that reshapes HBM’s Nuclear Tech into a deep industrial and technology progression, with a questbook that teaches machines, processes, and materials to newcomers. Its progression spans primitive survival, alloy smelting, multiblock machinery, and oil processing through fission and fusion reactors, space travel, and endgame technology. Players build increasingly complex production lines, from presses and blast furnaces to gas centrifuges, chemical processing plants, and automated assembly lines, while managing power from coal and diesel through steam turbines, nuclear reactors, fusion, and dark matter. Chemistry is central to advancement: oil refining, uranium enrichment, and petrochemical processing feed into materials such as Schrabidium that must be bred or transmuted rather than mined naturally. Industrial work carries hazards, including radiation that can spread through chunks, kill plants, and persist, as well as flammable gases, illness from hazardous materials, and reactor meltdowns that make safety systems important. The pack also emphasizes survival combat and ordnance, with tougher mobs and bosses, craftable weapons and defenses, and survival-built missiles carrying explosives such as Gadget, Fat Man, thermonuclear, and Schrabidium warheads. Exploration includes dungeons, hidden lore, and boss encounters, while the questbook guides players without revealing secrets. Space is part of the endgame: multi-stage rockets reach orbital stations and planets with distinct atmospheres and bedrock ores, each presenting its own challenges and rewards. Designed for solo or cooperative play, the pack supports multiplayer and offers both a cooperative survival server and an anarchy server.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 2 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 22 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 73 of its 74 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 70 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 46 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
24 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
