Iron's Epic Spell Slinger adds the Spellslinger spell school, connecting Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks with MrCrayfish's Gun Mod so players can turn guns into spell-casting weapons. A school rune converts a supported gun into a SpellGun, with runes for Fire, Ice, Lightning, Blood, Ender, Holy, Evocation, Nature, Blank, and modded schools. Players can craft school-infused bullets, shells, missiles, and grenades, then inscribe each type with spells; shots cast spells in the order the ammunition is loaded, while rockets and grenades cast on impact or detonation. SpellGun users deal extra flat damage with spells matching the gun's school, with the bonus scaled by the gun's spell power and applicable to spells from any mod. The addon also introduces Spell Sickness, which lowers magic resistance to matching-school spell damage, and Spell Nullification, which prevents the affected entity from casting spells for a school-dependent duration. Server settings can adjust slot caps and spell power values, and configure per-school spell blacklists and whitelists. Modded spell schools are detected automatically when a mod provides an item named with the _rune suffix. Custom school-particle textures can be supplied through a resource pack or mod, and the workbench displays a live preview of the result for its current ingredients. Epic Fight is supported through optional compatibility with Tijōn's Epic Crayfish, which brings its shooting animations to the guns.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
Adds 15 items and 28 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
