    About

    Koifee's Mobs expands Minecraft with more than 30 creatures, making encounters across the world more varied and dangerous. Its roster ranges from passive animals such as the huge, meat-and-leather-yielding Whalen and breedable Woolshin to threats including projectile-firing Blugflies, poison-inflicting Cave Crawlers, torch-eating Torcheaters, and Nether-dwelling Molten and Eyebats. Mobs appear in distinct places and circumstances: Sand Skimmers ambush players from beneath desert sands at night, Kindles emerge around nearby fires, Polterghasts may appear when a creature dies, and Harvesters emerge when crops are broken. Some creatures can be bred or tamed, and the Screechbeast is a tameable flying mount; Soulcores also let players recall permanent pets. The mod includes Cerberus as a challenging boss, with a summoning ritual built around a Hellish Gateway block and Hellstone Gate Bricks. Most enemy spawning can be configured, so players can adjust whether particular enemies appear and how frequently.
