About
Lost Idols adds collectible and craftable idols that give players new objectives through exploration, activation, achievements, status effects, and other effects. The Promise is a blue jar found in swamp and mangrove alchemy huts that attracts fireflies when lit, while the Moai egg appears on beaches and can also be popped with redstone. The Undying idol grants localized immortality and is crafted from gold blocks, a Totem of Undying, and emeralds; giving it an emerald activates it. The Bird idol, found on floating islands, beams down nearby phantoms when dropped from a great height, while the Shulker idol creates above-water bubble columns and is found on runaway treasure ships in the End. Attraction and Repulsion idols act as redstone-activated magnets that influence mob pathfinding, useful for mob farms, and are found just below the surface in the Overworld. The Sphinx, found in small desert pyramids, increases the health of entities within range when activated with a gold block.
