A modpack that combines technology and magic for a steady adventure.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 324 graded mods, 217 are graded A or B, 50 C and 57 D to F. Its last update came out 3 months ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
MI:Foundation is an expert modpack built to combine technical and magical Minecraft mods into a large experience with smooth progression. Its progression features automation and resource processing alongside magic systems, with examples including Botania flower and pigment production, NEEPMeat-driven automation, ore processing, and crystal growth. Later-game projects include a Void Distillation Tower that produces pure resources from the liquid void and a Spatial Forge that creates most late-game items. The gallery also shows large-scale apiary setups, a space miner extracting ores on a new planet, and Spectrum pedestals, illustrating how the pack brings technical machinery and magical content together.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Fabric, 5 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 7 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 333 of its 336 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
16 mods send something about you
We read the code of 328 of its 330 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 17 of the 269 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
61 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
