About
Mage Flame lets players summon mobile light sources by crafting and using scrolls made from vanilla ingredients, without requiring mana, spell points, classes, or levels. Its summoned lights include Mage Flame, Lesser and Greater Revelation, Winged Torch, Bubble Flame, Ember Hound, and Glowglob; Bubble Flame can travel underwater, and Glowglob is throwable. Players can have multiple summoned entities active at once, track their remaining lifespan with a HUD when hovering over them, and remove them with a command. The mod supports optional dynamic-lighting integrations, including LambDynamicLights for Fabric and Sodium or Embeddium DynamicLights for Forge, and provides tooltips plus optional Patchouli documentation. On supported setups, some entities adjust their light output according to lifespan or health.
