    MapMipMapMod reduces visual artifacts when in-game maps are viewed from a distance by enabling mipmaps for their dynamic textures. It generates mipmaps on the GPU and uses map texture atlasing to improve performance, while avoiding texture updates for locked maps to reduce lag spikes when rendering many maps.
