    About

    Mars Mod: Reborn recreates the nostalgic beta-era Mars Mod, bringing its Mars-themed content together with additional ideas and unfinished features completed for this version. The dimension contains a Mars Volcano, Lost Villager’s Houses, and Martian Churches, along with meteors that can crash down and leave meteor blocks and cores to mine. Its inhabitants include passive Mars Aliens and Lost Villagers, nighttime Rotten Mars Aliens, and Meteoric Obsidian Golems that protect Lost Villagers; breaking an Ancient Coffin in a church summons the Martian Guard boss, who attacks with Mars Fireballs. Exploration and combat are supported by a full Space Suit for surviving on Mars, tougher Iridium suits, Jarosite armor, a Jarosite Jetpack usable in any dimension, and tools and weapons such as the Mars Drill, Jarosite tools, and the Mars Fireball-shooting Jarosite Gun. Players can mine Jarosite, Magnesium, Hematite, and Mars Basalted Rock, process their drops into materials and equipment, and find an Iridium Upgrade template and Mars Drill in Lost Villager’s Houses. Rescuing a Lost Villager by guiding one from Mars to the Overworld earns a faster, more durable Magnesium Drill, while defeating the Martian Guard yields materials and an orb that grants the Jarosite Gun infinite ammunition. A powered Vacuum Heater can create a breathable bubble on Mars without a Space Suit, and the dimension’s unusual conditions prevent ordinary torches, fires, and campfires from being used there.
