A mod that provides a ChatGPT interface inside Minecraft.
36.6 of the 64 points that apply = 57 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
MCChatGPT brings a ChatGPT interface into Minecraft, letting players ask questions and receive replies in the in-game chat; conversations include context from the last ten messages, and the model is designed to respond with awareness that it is in Minecraft. Players can choose how much Minecraft context to provide, from none to player details, player and world information, or information that also includes entities; richer context can increase the API request cost. The mod supports multiple conversations, with options to start or switch conversations, return to a previous one, select a conversation by ID, and list conversations with their IDs and most recent messages. Chat replies show the number of tokens used and an approximate API request cost, while configuration lets players set a compatible Chat Completions model and adjust response creativity through the temperature setting.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
3 of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
api.openai.comSends text to an AI service
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.
Sent to an address built while the game runs.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
We have read the code of 6 of its 9 files for recent versions.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used to make it
The author writes that AI was used.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Can use AI in the game
Bundles a library for talking to AI services.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
