    About

    MCHeli adds flyable aircraft and other vehicles, along with turrets and weapons, for aerial travel and combat in Minecraft. Helicopters are steered by tilting their nose, can carry passengers and gunners, and some can float on water; planes need room to accelerate for takeoff, while VTOL aircraft can switch between helicopter-like and conventional flight modes. Players can remotely pilot plane or helicopter UAVs from a station, with a limited operating range, and can use chains to tow non-living entities or carry and drop a 54-slot container from a helicopter. Combat options include aircraft-mounted machine guns, missiles, bombs, and torpedoes, handheld Stinger missiles that lock onto airborne vehicles, and turrets ranging from mounted machine guns to a 46-centimeter cannon; a laser designator can call in a three-plane airstrike. A single-use parachute provides a way to descend safely, and some aircraft support additional actions such as rappelling, ejecting passengers by parachute, or planting and fertilizing seeds. The built-in asset system lets users create vehicles without coding and edit assets to change recipes, handling, or textures; configuration options also include disabling explosive damage.
