Memento Mori is a content and balancing add-on for Requiem that deepens the risks and choices of possession, death, and curing. Its central Attrition system tracks soul damage in levels: each level lasts a configurable period, and while possessing certain mobs Attrition can rise rather than fade unless you gain Satiation; reaching the highest level can be fatal. Soul damage comes from sources including soul fire, the Wither, dragon breath, Phantoms, Vexes, Evoker fangs, and the Soul Cleaving enchantment, which deals increasing soul damage by level. At night, Phantoms spawn according to your Attrition level when you are outside, and light prevents them from spawning or touching you. Satiation can be earned by attacking villagers, pillagers, golems, witches, evokers, vindicators, or piglins, with piglins providing less; Soul Salves instead grant Alleviation, which prevents Attrition from reducing maximum health. The add-on also changes possession: touching a mob can reveal your playerhood to nearby hostile or neutral untamable mobs, and possessed players can mine with wooden-pickaxe harvest level, mining faster when using blocks that normally require tools. Additional items and enchantments include campfire-roasted Spider Eyes for Weakness, Soul Salves for Alleviation, Eau De Mort for leaving a host while preserving carried items, and Reaping, which deals Attrition-based magic damage and can turn fire into soul fire. Other features include the Wraith Remnant form, corpse reanimation, Second Wind protection from environmental damage, and Memento Mori stacks that store Attrition when curing and restore it after death. A host with sufficiently high Attrition may rebel upon death, revive at full health, expel the player, and take their items; hostile detection changes also ensure that at least one nearby hostile can notice the player in the relevant range.

No harmful code found

We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.3.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
