A mod that makes mobs level up alongside the player.
56.1 of the 64 points that apply = 88 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Monsters Level Up makes mobs grow more dangerous as the player progresses, with difficulty increases triggered by obtaining iron or diamond armor, enchanting, entering the Nether, and defeating the Ender Dragon. As they level up, mobs can gain gear, potion effects, and new tactics: undead may summon reinforcements when hit, creepers can ride spiders or disable shields, skeletons can switch between melee and ranged attacks, and spiders can trap targets in cobwebs. Other changes include mobs using shields and fire-starting items, and drowned riding zombie dolphins that draw them closer to the player. The mod also adds mini-bosses: Skeleton Commanders ride Spider Mothers and strengthen nearby mobs, Zombie Juggernauts dash and weaken armor on hit, and Wither Skeleton Horsemen ride Wither Skeleton Horses in groups of a leader and two soldiers. Defeating mini-bosses rewards materials for crafting gear with special abilities. New creatures include durable Spider Mothers, which release cave spiders when killed; rain-spawning Lightning Rod Creepers, which charge up near targets; rare ocean-dwelling Zombie Dolphins that attack sea creatures; and hostile Wither Skeleton Horses that set targets on fire and wither them. Wither Skeleton Horses can sometimes appear trapped and can be tamed with Phantom Membranes.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 32 items, 6 mobs, 1 other entity, 17 recipes, 6 advancements, 7 loot tables and 9 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
