About
Better FPS Render Distance improves performance by changing Minecraft’s rendering range from a square radius to a three-dimensional circular radius, reducing the number of chunk sections that need to be rendered. You can configure horizontal and vertical distance scaling; stretching the radius reduces how much distant terrain, especially caves below you, is rendered, with the amount of reduction depending on the settings. An optional setting applies the distance adjustment to entity rendering as well, and debug mode shows how many chunk sections are skipped.
