More Magic adds magical items, crafting mechanics, creatures and places to explore, with a Grimoire of Secrets to guide players through its recipes and lore. Three enchanted gems, the Aether Gem, Eldritch Gem and Cryptic Gem, can be used to craft the Ancient Staff, Arcane Wand and Runic Scepter; other weapons include the fire-wielding Dragon Blaster and the Sonic Shrieker, which attacks with Warden-like sonic blasts. The Infernal Forge converts quartz and coal into diamonds over two minutes, while the Morphic Copperforge can upgrade iron or gold pickaxes to diamond or, more rarely, netherite. The Warp Conduit links two portals for travel between distant locations, and the Witch Hat can grant its wearer instant health or regeneration, or inflict instant damage or poison on enemies. Players can craft and ride a Desert Vortex, a temporary sand creature that fades after five minutes, and use the string-loaded Web Shooter to fire cobwebs for traps, traversal or ensnaring foes. At the Alchemy Altar, placing a Totem of Undying summons either a helpful Totem of Life that grants effects and acts as an ally, or a hostile Totem of Death that attacks with withering projectiles. The mod also adds Mage Villagers, who trade magical items and enchantments, and a Mage Tower in Mangrove Swamps, where players can find magical knowledge and rare treasures.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 blocks, 15 items, 2 mobs, 1 other entity, 13 recipes, 1 advancement and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
