    About

    Novam Terram expands world exploration with new biomes designed to blend with vanilla Minecraft while adding distinctive landscapes and regional resources. Its warm, cool, icy, and desert regions include examples such as Blossom Forest, Monsoon Forest, Maple Forest, Cliffs, Glacier, Icy Tundra, Sahel, and Red Sand Dune, with hills and other variants for some biomes. The landscapes vary in terrain and vegetation: Blossom Forest has tall purple blossom trees, Stone Fields feature boulders and stone spikes, and Hot Springs include green-water lakes and ponds among occasional tall spruce trees. Ore distribution is tied to biome type, with warm biomes yielding more emeralds, cool biomes more diamonds, icy biomes more lapis, and deserts more gold. Configuration options let players adjust biome weights and enable or disable villages in Novam Terram and some vanilla biomes, and the mod is compatible with Biomes O' Plenty.
