Radioactive hazards into Minecraft
51.1 of the 58 points that apply = 88 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Nuclear Radiation adds a physics-based radiation hazard system, tracking source activity in becquerels through environmental fields and shielding to biological dose in sieverts, with distinct behavior for alpha, beta, gamma/X-ray, and neutron radiation. Radioactivity can come from placed blocks, dropped item stacks, fluids, and containers holding radioactive materials; the world also tracks soil, air, and water contamination by chunk, and sources can irradiate nearby blocks so they may change. More than 40 isotopes, including uranium-235, plutonium-239, cesium-137, iodine-131, strontium-90, cobalt-60, and californium-252, decay according to their half-lives, with decay chains producing daughter isotopes such as uranium-235 from plutonium-239. Exposure includes radiation from nearby sources, hot items carried in the inventory, and isotopes ingested or inhaled, as well as background radiation that can vary by dimension and biome; prolonged exposure can mutate mobs. Stone, iron, gold, water, obsidian, and netherite can shield radiation, with denser materials offering stronger attenuation and different effectiveness against X-rays and neutrons; armor and the mod’s full-body hazmat suit provide additional protection. A Geiger counter reports nearby activity through clicks that speed up as it rises, while a dosimeter displays total dose, current dose rate, and external, inventory, and internal dose sources; intense fields add screen static, and dropped radioactive items can glow. Protective treatments include iodine pills against iodine-131 uptake, Prussian blue to clear cesium-137, an anti-radiation injection and Radaway to reduce accumulated contamination, and a potion that resists incoming dose. Map makers and modpack authors can configure a tunable creative radiation emitter, assign radioactivity to items, blocks, and fluids through datapacks or KubeJS, and adjust armor shielding and simulation settings; JEI and EMI provide reference pages for isotopes, radioactive items, decay chains, armor protection, and related information. The mod also integrates radiation from Mekanism and Nuclear Science into its shared isotope-based system, so those sources use the same dose and shielding mechanics.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 6 areas, as a library other mods build on: Chunk loading and storageChanges 1 game code file in this area: how the game loads, tracks, saves and unloads chunks., Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work., World renderingChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing the terrain, sky, clouds and weather., Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and Game coreChanges 1 game code file in this area: the main loop, lighting and other code the whole game uses..
Adds 3 blocks, 19 items, 24 recipes and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
