About
OPChanter adds a crafting progression built around an OPChanted Apple, which serves as food and a recipe ingredient and grants effects lasting eight minutes, plus an OPChanted Ingot and Block used to make obtaining the OPChanter more challenging. The OPChanter has no interface: right-click it while holding an enchanted item to attempt to raise one eligible enchantment by one level. The enchantment chosen is random, and upgrading a level-X enchantment requires at least X+1 experience levels and succeeds with a chance of 1/(X+1); if only one enchantment meets the level requirement, it is the only one in the selection pool. Some enchantments are excluded from upgrades, including Mending and Silk Touch from Minecraft, as well as modded examples such as Apotheosis's Berserker's Fury and Astral Sorcery's Night Vision. Enchantments above level 10 receive customized tooltip display, configurable to use Roman or Arabic numerals.
