Pollution is a GregTech CEu addon that reworks Thaumcraft 6’s magic through an industrial lens, connecting its aura and mystical materials with GregTech machinery and the worldviews of Betweenlands, Botania, and Blood Magic. Its pollution system makes machine operation and explosions produce emissions, with multiblock silencers reducing them as they are upgraded; high pollution can harm players, reduce some machine efficiency, alter the environment, and create hazardous rifts. Players can manage that impact with aura generators that produce power, aura regenerators, and air scrubbers that clean individual chunks or larger areas, while aura-rich chunks can help machines work more productively. The mod adds six GT gemstone-base ores corresponding to Thaumcraft aspects, Betweenlands magical treasures, named magical alloys such as Rhythmic Titanium and Sunset Steel, and catalysts that guide magical reactions for advanced crafting. Its Mystical-Greg multiblocks turn familiar industrial processes into magical production lines: examples include a batch roller combining compression, stamping, rolling, and forging, a cyclone centrifuge, a blazing blast furnace, and a washing plant that combines chemical washing with ore washing. Specialized machines include an arcane furnace for making magical alloys, a plant-essence refiner for growing crystals and silverwood, and an automated infusion matrix that brings GregTech-style automation to Thaumcraft infusion. Other completed machinery stores and transforms essentia, generates power from essentia or magical nodes, and supports advanced assembly and magical chemical reactions.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 1 block: papa测试方块; 6 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Pollution in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 1 point.
