About
Pure Berries expands vanilla berry gameplay with new berry crops and foods, aiming to fit vanilla mechanics and maintain balance. Its berry crops include blueberries, cloudberries, goji berries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, gooseberries, and cape gooseberries, with growth and generation tied to biomes; glow berries also grow on cave vines in lush caves. Berry foods range from cooked and cocoa-covered berries to honey-dipped berries, biscuits, muffins, pies, juice, jam, and jam sandwiches, alongside berry cakes and other foods. Golden berries add five configurable effects: detoxify, luminance, nimbus, sustenance, and vitality. A mortar and pestle block comes in 13 variants and can crush all nine berries into dye, including glow dye from glow berries that behaves like glow ink sacs.
