    About

    Pure Ores is a modular addition that expands mining and equipment progression with eight mineral sets: Moonstone, Fire Opal, Jadeite, Ametrine, Chrysoberyl, Sapphire, Black Diamond, and Lonsdaleite. The ores span the Overworld, Nether, and End: examples include Nether Fire Opal, End Ametrine, and deep-Overworld Black Diamond, while rare Lonsdaleite is found in surface meteorites that can leave magma and fire around impact sites. Each mineral set provides a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, and full armor set, with material properties ranging from iron-level Moonstone tools to Netherite-level Lonsdaleite equipment. The additions also include gems, dusts, gem apples, and gem carrots for each mineral, plus matching mineral blocks and colored or frosted glass. Gems are used to craft and repair matching gear, while gem dust is made by stonecutting gems and is used for glass recipes; gem apples retain golden-apple effects, whereas gem carrots provide golden-carrot nutrition without status effects. For building, Serpentinite and Mica Schist come in polished and brick forms as well as stairs, slabs, and walls. Separate integer gamerules let server owners and modpack makers tune or disable generation for each ore and Lonsdaleite meteorites, making it possible to shape the mineral mix without a separate configuration file.
