About
PVP Tweaks is a client-side quality-of-life mod for tailoring Minecraft’s combat visuals, sounds, HUD, and item presentation to personal preference. Its configuration hub groups options for item sizes, visuals, HUD, sounds, optimization, and profiles. You can resize held item categories such as swords, shields, bows, totems, and golden apples, using global or per-item controls and different scaling modes. Visual settings include fire height and screen-overlay scaling, fullbright, pumpkin blur, adjustable shield positioning, plant rendering controls, potion indicator colors, and changes to End Crystal and totem-pop sizes or animations. The HUD tools include movable, resizable displays for clicks per second, armor and held-item durability, coordinates, and potion effects, along with a crosshair editor and hotbar labels. For sound customization, the in-game picker lets you preview and search vanilla sounds, adjust pitch, set separate volume levels for events such as crystal or anchor explosions, and import audio files; durability warnings can also use custom sounds. Particle controls cover explosions from sources including TNT, Creepers, beds, Ghasts, and Wind Charges, while the zoom utility offers configurable FOV and scroll sensitivity. Settings can be saved, loaded, and shared through profile import and export, and HUD elements can be repositioned with on-screen drag-and-drop adjusters. Optional client-side crystal and anchor optimizers address delayed visual updates after attacks or explosions, helping avoid ghost crystals and keeping an anchor’s position available for placement before the server confirms the change.
