    About

    Resource Geodes & Catalysts adds underground geode structures containing catalyst blocks that can generate renewable ores and other resources when activated. Included examples draw on Create’s Asurine, Crimsite, Ochrum, and Veridium materials, with a Sky Stone catalyst available when Applied Energistics 2 is installed. Players activate catalysts using tiered Agitators, with four tiers, or a configured vanilla or modded item such as gunpowder; each catalyst uses one activation system or the other. Activations generate blocks in configurable spheres or cubes, with adjustable radius, fill density, and cooldown, and the catalyst provides visual feedback. The mod supports up to 12 generic catalysts that modpack creators can configure through datapacks to generate chosen blocks and set activation requirements, recipes, and generation behavior. Resource packs can give custom catalysts their own names, models, and textures, while JEI and Jade integrations help players inspect the system.
