    About

    Resource Hogs lets modpack authors create pig-like mobs that farm configurable resources, defining their inputs and outputs as well as where they can dig, what blocks they resemble, and properties such as health, speed, armor, and digging rate. Players can turn a normal pig into a resource hog with a bucket of mud, then collect its resource either by killing it for bacon or letting it dig up truffles without being killed. Hogs dig only in configured dimensions and on suitable blocks with clear space above; speed potions make them dig faster, and truffles can be broken automatically when the block beneath them is removed. With Tinkers’ Construct, bacon and truffles from resource types whose outputs have smelting recipes can also be smelted into the corresponding fluid.
