About
Respawning Pets Mary Edition lets players grant pets the ability to return after death using the Eternity Charm, crafted from diamonds, gold, and a totem or found in Trial Chamber vaults. Click a pet with the charm to enable or toggle respawning, or sneak-click to apply the change to nearby pets; the charm has ten charges and can be recharged by combining it with a diamond in the inventory. Enabled pets respawn near the player when they sleep, provided they have been dead for at least ten minutes, a delay that can be configured; if there is not enough room, they try again after a later sleep. Respawned creatures lose their items and potion effects, and other non-hostile mobs can also be enabled to return near the last player who used the charm on them. Datapacks can set mobs to always respawn or never respawn, and can whitelist hostile mobs or blacklist non-hostile ones.
