A fantasy RPG modpack with quests, magic, dragons, and loot.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 328 graded mods, 267 are graded A or B, 54 C and 7 D to F. Its last update came out 4 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Tempest Protocol is a fantasy RPG modpack that brings the world and progression of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime into Minecraft, with Tensura Reincarnated as its central mod and Ice and Fire and Iron's Spells as major supporting mods. Players choose a fantasy race such as Slime, Goblin, or Demon, then develop through distinct evolution paths and transformations including the Harvest Festival. Progression combines more than 100 abilities, including Magicules, Great Sage, and Ultimate Skills, with over 70 spells, powerful equipment, and more than 1,000 quests that guide the adventure and offer quest rewards. Exploration spans 13 dimensions, where players can seek out spells in ancient wizard towers and face elite bosses and minibosses. The pack also features mythical creatures to tame and battle, kingdom-building, two casino games with item prizes, and decorative blocks and items for building. Players can join the included Slimebane MMORPG server to play with others, or set up their own server.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 20 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 327 of its 330 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 277 of its 282 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 19 of the 228 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
54 mods are not checked yet.
2 mods can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
