Sable: Destructive is an addon for Sable that makes moving physics structures respond to impacts and explosions with material-aware damage. Vehicles, aircraft, ships, bases, and other Sable constructions can collide with terrain or be hit by sources such as TNT, creepers, end crystals, and compatible explosions, breaking blocks according to impact energy, material toughness, contact hardness, and the structure's mass. Damage is block-by-block by default: brittle or overwhelmed blocks vanish into textured dust and fragments, while suitable blocks can detach as independent physics pieces that keep moving, tumbling, and colliding. A soft attacking surface can erode against a harder defender, while finite materials such as stone, obsidian, and reinforced blocks resist proportionately stronger impacts; bedrock and other protected infrastructure remain unbreakable. Optional penetration and cluster detachment allow more extensive damage, with penetration limited by impact energy and safeguards against runaway tunnelling or fragment creation. Terrain damage can be disabled, and when enabled it removes blocks without turning them into detached physics bodies; container contents can still spill when containers are destroyed. Substantial falling structures that make confirmed terrain contact can produce craters, flying rock and soil, a bright contact flash, expanding shock and pressure waves, a rising dust column, settling debris, layered impact sounds, and distance-scaled camera shake. Its custom visual effects include textured dust, structural shatter, sparks, shockwaves, pressure waves, impact plumes, and faceted rubble, with effects on moving Sable sub-levels travelling with the structure. Server operators can use a live configuration panel to adjust damage behavior, self-damage, optional penetration and detachment, crater depth, shockwave radius, knockback, camera shake, and visual-effect density.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 3 sounds: Crater Crack, Shockwave Boom and Shockwave Rumble.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
