About
Sable Long Range Warfare expands the Create and Sable ecosystem with modern military systems for long-range combat, including radar-guided targeting, guided missiles, electronic warfare, and aircraft weaponry. Its radar network can detect and track targets, with MFD Controllers supporting aircraft operations and CIC Controllers providing long-range fleet management. Four-digit IFF codes help distinguish friendly units from hostiles, reducing the risk of friendly fire in multiplayer. Missiles can travel extreme distances without despawning through integrated chunk loading, and support direct, lofted, top-attack, and sea-skimming guidance profiles. The mod also supports VLS-equipped warships for distant engagements and aircraft weapon management through MFD-based targeting systems. Thermal imaging is available on targeting pod displays and TV missile cameras, while HEAT rounds can penetrate armor along a narrow shaped-charge path. SN Assets Particles is recommended for the mod's explosion, smoke, debris, and other visual effects; without it, those effects are skipped while gameplay still works.
