Salvage Furnace lets you recycle unwanted tools and armor in material-specific furnaces, recovering scraps whose yield depends on the item’s material and remaining durability; some badly worn items, such as shovels, cannot be salvaged. Scraps can be smelted back into materials, while salvaging enchanted gear produces enchanted scraps that yield enchanted materials for crafting tools and armor with higher enchantability than their ordinary counterparts. Smelting enchanted materials removes their magical properties and recovers some of the experience spent enchanting the original item, and the materials can also be made into decorative blocks that work near enchanting tables and as beacon bases. Enchanted netherite scrap can be combined with enchanted gold to make enchanted netherite, which upgrades diamond tools and armor at a smithing table. Furnace upgrades improve fuel efficiency or smelting speed, while a storage upgrade adds an overhead container that automatically sends salvageable items into the furnace and returns its output to storage. Upgraded furnaces also fill a reward bar that grants a type-specific repair sigil; crafted repair runes gradually repair carried equipment, including armor and the tool in your main hand. The furnaces can salvage and repair horse armor as well as compatible gear from Mortius’ Weaponry and Spartan Weaponry.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 18 blocks, 87 items, 89 recipes, 41 advancements and 7 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
