Keeps server autosaves from causing sudden lag and freezes.

BetterAutoSave is a server-side mod that reduces freezes during world saves by taking snapshots on the main thread and handing serialization and disk writes for chunks, entities, and saved data to background threads. It adapts its saving pace when the server is under strain, then speeds up as the next autosave approaches to avoid a growing backlog. The mod also observes and reports two less-visible sources of lag: synchronous chunk loads on the main thread and long pauses between game ticks, recording details such as the blocking call chain, chunk location, or pause duration. Server operators can inspect status, metrics, queue and timing diagnostics, slow-saving chunks, and stall reports through commands, and can export selected monitoring data to Prometheus. Its Forge build also includes protections for player-data reads, advancement and statistics writes, and level.dat backups, while asynchronous chunk loading is an optional feature available on Forge.

Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
Claude (chat) is named in the author's texts.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
