    About

    Simply Spawners adds ways to reclaim, empty, and configure spawners for survival play. Breaking a spawner with a Fortune-enchanted pickaxe can yield spawner fragments, with Fortune III guaranteeing four, while an Empty Egg crafted from a chorus fruit and a vanilla spawn egg turns a vanilla spawner into an empty one. Use a mob spawn egg on an empty spawner to set it to spawn that mob; the resulting active spawner can only be mined with a Silk Touch tool. The Eggification enchantment, found in nether fortresses, near portal frames, and in bastions, gives weapons a small chance to produce a mob spawn egg when a mob is killed, with Looting increasing the chance. Spawn eggs for modded entities can also configure spawners, although crafting an Empty Egg with a modded spawn egg requires that egg to be included in the spawn_eggs tag.
