Steel tools last longer, with decorative blocks for your builds.
22.3 of the 61 points that apply = 37 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Simply Steel adds steel as an early-game option for more durable tools and armor, helping players spend fewer iron pickaxes while searching for their first diamonds. Players make Crude Iron by combining an iron ingot with coal, then smelt it in a blast furnace to obtain steel ingots. Steel tools last longer than iron tools and are slightly more efficient, while steel armor has greater durability and an extra point of armor toughness; both also have slightly higher enchantability. The mod also adds a steel anvil that is less likely to crack, plus steel doors, trapdoors, bars, and blocks with tougher, more blast-resistant properties and industrial-style textures. For lighting fires, players can craft steel firestarters or make a more durable variant using quartz instead of flint; iron-based firestarters have a chance to fail when used. A steel golem, built similarly to an iron golem, has 50% more health and receives 50% more healing from ingots, making it a stronger village defender. Steel shears and advancements for steelmaking, placing a steel anvil, summoning a steel golem, and using up firestarters round out the additions.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.3 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 7 blocks, 16 items, 1 mob, 25 recipes, 4 advancements and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's recipes.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.3 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.3 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
