About
Skiing adds winter sports equipment and related snow-themed items to Minecraft. Players can ride skis, snowboards, and sleds, available in multiple wood types, and use ski sticks held in both hands to move faster. A snow shovel clears a 3-by-3 area of snow, while dyeable pullovers provide warm clothing and seven paintings add decoration. A Ski Merchant villager sells skis and other mod items; the README says the merchant appears in a custom villager house. Configuration options cover the equipment's health, speed, acceleration, and movement limits, as well as the minimum velocity needed to turn skis, sleds, or snowboards.
