Steve’s Inferno is an adventure and progression mod inspired by Dante’s Inferno and the Divine Comedy, expanding Minecraft’s demonic themes with journeys through the Circles of Hell and the Heavens. The Nether adds Demons, which drop hearts used to craft the Demonic Rod that opens a quartz portal, and Lava Snails, which drop magma cream. The Circles of Hell contain the biomes Limbo, Treachery, Anger, Fraud, and Heresy, populated by tortured souls, hostile beings, and fallen angels. In the Heavens, reached through a gold-block portal lit with an angelic or purified rod, players can explore Eden’s Garden and encounter holy spirits and guardian angels. Progression involves gathering demon, fallen-angel, and angel hearts, refining them into crafting materials, and using those materials to summon angels and an archangel and make increasingly powerful equipment. The Morningstar, a powerful sword crafted from holy materials, summons Lucifer, the final boss; the description recommends fighting him in the Heavens. Other rewards include Drained Armor, described as stronger than diamond, and a Fire Essence Chestplate that grants fire resistance while the player holds Fire Essence. An Endorium dimension with dark beings and unusual landscapes is also described, but the project notes that this feature is not included in its 1.12 version.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
Adds 23 items, 1 mob, 10 other entities and 7 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
