    About

    TacZ:Arcana is an enhancement and development kit for Timeless and Classics Guns: Zero, extending TacZ with optional mechanics and tools for building more detailed tactical or RPG-style weapon experiences. Its modular skill system organizes weapon behavior around triggers, conditions, configurable flags, and actions, which can respond to events such as holding a gun, running, jumping, or taking damage and then perform effects such as animations, messages, or summoning entities. The full development workflow supports authoring YAML-based skills; the standard user edition can load skills bundled in community packs but does not provide a way to create custom ones. Optional visual and weapon features include scope rendering that magnifies only the optic area, with examples such as night-vision and thermal sights, as well as secondary launchers that let a weapon switch seamlessly between primary and underbarrel systems. For guided ammunition, creators can configure active-radar, laser, TV, or drone control, along with pursuit, proportional-navigation, and top-attack flight profiles; TV control steers by remote-camera aim, while drone control also supports lateral and vertical movement. Other projectile options include block penetration, ricochets, proximity fuzes, and grappling weapons, while screen-shake effects can be used in weapon mechanics or other game setups. The kit also provides module attachment slots and configurable gun-shield behavior, which gunpacks can use to add defensive equipment to weapons.
