TACZ Expanded is a modpack that brings together a large selection of TaCZ weapon packs and related quality-of-life and performance enhancements, with roughly 400 unique weapons spanning varied styles rather than a strictly realistic or fully customizable arsenal. Its gun content includes packs such as Ares Gun Pack, Apocalypse Gun Pack, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, Cold War Guns, Modern Warfare 2019 Weapons, and Trench Tactics WW1, alongside TaCZ core content and add-ons for features such as leaning, ammunition queries, and third-person shooting. The included tutorial world introduces TaCZ through a more linear sequence with fighting sections, while the pack also provides a Multi Summon command for spawning groups of enemies to battle. Two ready-to-play maps add themed settings and weapon chests: Battlefield 4’s Operation Métro 2014 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Shipment. The pack also includes a scenic seed with a small mountain outpost, a stairway to a village, and a large mine, plus optional resource packs for tactical sprint animations, more menacing zombie appearances, biome- and weather-based ambience, and a dark interface. Visual options include configurable shaders, among them a bodycam effect with night-vision and infrared modes, while quality-of-life features include adjustable third-person camera views and a HUD that lowers when the player is inactive. Performance-focused additions and Oculus shader support round out the pack, and controller play is supported with customizable controls.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 1 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 8 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 70 of its 73 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (1 Jul 2026) in the 49 mods we checked.
2 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
16 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
