Tax' Big Boss expands Minecraft’s mobs with a large roster of boss encounters and unusual variants, many of which can appear naturally in the world. Its bosses include the Warden-like Enforcer, which can stun players with sonic attacks, reflect damage, and escape underground, as well as the Undead Dragon, whose presence empowers nearby End Crystals and draws Phantoms into the fight. Other encounters add distinct combat patterns: the Dark Lord summons groups of minions and is invulnerable until they are defeated, while the Sage Guardian calls reinforcements at ocean monuments and can drag the fight out of the water. The Piglin Champion adapts its weapons and tactics to its opponent and can trade when offered gold blocks; the King Slime and Magma Lord shrink and grow faster as they take damage, shedding smaller creatures along the way. The mob variants range from aggressive creatures such as the fire-spreading Inferno Blaze and rapidly teleporting Manic Enderman to stranger wildlife, including the egg-laying Eversource chicken, ink-bursting Inky Squid, and Blue Axolotl with regenerative abilities. Other examples change how familiar mobs behave: the Bard protects itself and nearby creatures with a nighttime shield, the Rally Allay can trap nearby Vexes, and the Nether-Charged Creeper replaces lightning with fire and can turn up in the Nether. Battles and encounters can yield distinctive rewards, such as the Sage Guardian’s hypnotizing Closed Eye, the Piglin Champion’s crown, or the Shadow Ghast’s orb, which grants invisibility when held in the off hand. Players can also summon the roster through included commands, while some bosses have special encounter conditions, such as using a beacon on a Wither to create the Charged-Wither.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
