The Mushrooms expands Minecraft’s mushroom content with new varieties, a mushroom-focused Overworld biome called the Grovelands, and a spreading system built around Mycelium Dirt. Mycelium Dirt, found mostly in Mushroom Fields and the Grovelands, spreads the mushroom type associated with each block: on random ticks it can create a mushroom or a Mushroom Mob, with both outcomes more likely in rain and those biomes. Mushroom Mobs are short-lived creatures that wander to spread mushrooms and Mycelium Dirt, and can extend their lifespan by killing nearby monsters when it is nearly over. New mushrooms can also spread on random ticks; varieties include White, Blue, Maitake, King Trumpet and Giant Puffball mushrooms, alongside the familiar Red and Brown mushrooms. White Mushrooms turn into Brown Mushrooms over time, while Red and Brown mushrooms have new corresponding items that can be crafted back into their original forms and vice versa. Rare Truffles grow underground near special trees in the Grovelands and grant a powerful Luck effect when eaten.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 12 blocks, 22 items, 4 mobs, 1 biome, 10 recipes and 4 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 4 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
