Topography is a scripting-based mod for modpack developers to build custom dimensions and tailor world creation to their packs. Its terrain generators include sky islands, overworld-style terrain, scattered blocks, fluid pockets, hanging crystals, deformed spheres, cell noise, layered terrain, ice and snow, and biome block replacement, alongside generators for vanilla features such as caves, ravines, lakes, dungeons, vegetation, animals, fire, lava, glowstone, and quartz. Custom dimensions can use structures including Nether fortresses, End cities, mansions, mineshafts, ocean monuments, strongholds, villages, and temples; pictured examples include glass or material-block sky islands and Nether-like cell worlds with or without a roof. Modpack creators can offer players a custom world-creation screen with selectable presets, descriptions, and images, and can lock presets until a command unlocks them, for example after an advancement or quest. Dimension settings can define skyboxes and fog that transition with the celestial angle, use a fixed time of day, disable clouds, skylight, or sky rendering, and create single-biome worlds. Other configurable world rules include lighting effects on entities, disabled respawning, vaporized water, forced or locked difficulty, Hardcore mode, and initial command functions run for players on joining or on the server when a world is created.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.16.5.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
