A skyblock modpack built around crafting and quests.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 295 graded mods, 178 are graded A or B, 49 C and 68 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Not Too Complicated 2 is a quest-driven tech modpack built around custom crafting, with an alchemy and EMC component. You begin in a void-world skyblock with only a transmutation tablet and obsidian, then follow a large quest selection as you develop your technology and automation. Custom recipes and machines shape the progression, including chemistry machines, assemblers, compact crafters, and staged collector recipes. The pack also supports extensive Applied Energistics 2 crafting and storage progression, with recipes for processor wafers, storage components from 1k through 16m, and a Tesseract. Later crafting goals include singularities, end-game armor and gem armor, and ProjectE items such as the void ring, Volcanite Amulet, and Evertide Amulet. Quests provide the framework for the pack, while the overall aim is open-ended play rather than a single prescribed finish.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 20 Aug 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 17 Aug 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 299 of its 300 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 300 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (20 Aug 2023) in the 207 mods we checked.
14 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
93 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
