Implements bear traps for users to hunt for more leather.
35.3 of the 64 points that apply = 55 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Trapper Pelts adds craftable bear traps for hunting, providing an alternate way to collect leather and rabbit hides. Using a trap places it at the player's feet, and it takes about four seconds to arm before snapping when an entity makes contact. A triggered trap deals 22.5 damage, and kills made with it can yield extra hides or leather alongside the entity's usual loot; the drop type depends on the mob, with small game generally yielding hides and other eligible entities yielding leather. The trap collects this extra loot and dispenses it when reset, and it can be reset a few times by right-clicking before it is used up. Entities treated as small game or excluded from extra drops can be configured through data-driven entity lists, and traps can be destroyed by attacking them.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 3 items, 1 entity and 1 recipe.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
