UFO Future is an endgame expansion for Applied Energistics 2 that extends its automation, storage and crafting into a progression based on stellar materials and advanced processing. Progress begins with the single-block Dimensional Matter Assembler, where players manage inputs, catalysts, coolant and heat; its thermal system can move from safe operation through hazardous conditions to a meltdown. From there, the multiblock line includes the Quantum Matter Fabricator, Quantum Slicer, Quantum Processor Assembler, Quantum Cryoforge, Stellar Nexus, Quantum Computation Nexus, Quantum Pattern Fabrication Matrix and Infinity Fabrication Singularity. These machines handle bulk matter production, printed-component cutting, processor assembly, cryogenic processing and stellar simulations, with shared ME-native ports that move items, fluids and energy between machines and the AE2 network without intermediate inventories. The Stellar Nexus makes endgame processing a matter of managing fuel, coolant and heat, while the multiblocks share MK1, MK2 and MK3 tiers that govern recipe access and reward higher-tier machines with faster, more energy-efficient processing of lower-tier recipes. For large crafting jobs, the Quantum Computation Nexus pools installed crafting storage and co-processors into shared AE2 computing capacity, while the pattern matrix provides a searchable, field-scaled library and the Singularity supports persistent recursive crafting routes. Storage additions include BigInteger item and fluid cells with capacities progressing from 40 million to infinite, more than 30 single-resource Infinity Cells, and enlarged crafting storages and co-processors for requests beyond ordinary AE2 scale. The progression also adds 13 custom fluids and stellar materials, moving through White Dwarf, Neutron Star and Pulsar stages toward endgame matter and equipment. A transformable RF-powered multi-tool changes among ten forms, including a pickaxe, hammer, bow and fishing rod, with features such as area mining, auto-smelting, fast-draw and replanting; armor progresses from a heat-resistant mid-game exosuit to RF-powered UFO Armor with flight and night vision. Modpack makers can add, remove or replace the Dimensional Matter Assembler and multiblock recipes through KubeJS, with support for tags and scripted recipe changes.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 49 blocks, 155 items, 7 mobs, 350 recipes, 2 sounds and 5 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include UFO FUTURE in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 7 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 5 points.
