    About

    Unnatural Absorption adds a configurable reserve of regenerating absorption hearts that gives players an extra shield, particularly useful when natural health regeneration is disabled or slow. Because the shield is not a potion effect, its absorption can stack with absorption from other mods; its capacity can also be increased with an armor enchantment or a craftable book. Configuration options control the starting hearts, regeneration rate, hearts lost on death, whether recovery consumes hunger, and whether absorption replaces armor damage reduction.
